Summer Camp Program

We believe all children should have the opportunity to go to "sleep away" camp. That is why The Salvation Army offers Camp Paradise Valley every summer for children who otherwise would not get to experience the fun and activities summer camp offers.

The Salvation Army's Kentucky-Tennessee Division camp is located on beautiful Dale Hallow Lake near Burkesville, Kentucky. Children seven to 12 years of age are eligible. Camp instructors who have been certified by the Red Cross and/or YMCA supervise all swimming and waterfront activities. There is a nurse on duty at all times.

The boys and girls spend a fun-filled week making friends, participating in sports, songfests and campfires, making crafts, swimming and fishing. They learn about God's love and experience it first hand. And they'll return home with enough memories to last a lifetime.

For information about the summer camp program, call Latasha Spight at 901-260-9107.
