The Online Red kettle program allows The Salvation Army to expand upon our iconic Red Kettles and explore non-traditional fundraising methods which involve a more personal support. This program is simple to use, even for those who do not use computers or the Internet everyday.

So what are these Online Red Kettles?

• Personal Kettles are for individuals or businesses. You can host your own Online Red Kettle and then invite friends, co-workers, business contacts via e-mail to fill your kettle with secure online donations.
• Group Kettles are for Corps, civic groups, schools, or any other organization. A Group Kettle allows your members to fundraise independently with their own Personal Kettles that will also be reflected automatically in your Group Kettle.

Once you have signed up for an Online Red Kettle, you can customize it with your picture and a description of why you support The Salvation Army. The Online Red Kettle program allows you to send e-mails asking family and friends, co-workers and vendors to help support The Salvation Army this Christmas. You will receive updates on any donations to your kettle and a widget will keep track of your total amount. It can even be integrated with a Web site, Facebook or MySpace page; and also protects personal information from Web-generated spam messages.
