Corps Worship and Community Centers

In keeping with the military metaphors used throughout The Salvation Army, each "Corps" is a place of worship where church services are conducted for any who choose to attend. The Corps provide a sense of congregation and help meet the needs not only of the body, but the mind and spirit as well.

Our Corps serve as a hub around which all Salvation Army activities, ministries and other services revolve. At our Corps, you will find a variety of programs such as neighborhood worship services, Women's Home League and programs for youth. Recreational and character-building programs also are available.

The Winchester Corps was established in 1998 in response to the needs of the local neighborhood. The Winchester Corps has a partnership with Memphis Athletic Ministries and also sponsors a Boy Scout Troop.
