Hardin-Prentiss Child Care and Learning Center

The Purdue Center of Hope

The Hardin-Prentiss Child Care and Learning Center located in The Purdue Center of Hope, is one of the best-kept secrets in child care. A Three-Star Licensed childcare center, the Hardin-Prentiss Child Care and Learning Center fulfills the need for quality childcare for low and middle income families in the Memphis community.

The goals of the center are to:

  • Foster positive development physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
  • Offer quality childcare for working parents.
  • Provide a safe and stimulating atmosphere that encourages learning and the positive development of each child.

The Hardin-Prentiss Child Care and Learning Center accepts children from six weeks to five years of age. The day care serves families from various economic backgrounds who live or work in Shelby County.

Our child care center is very well staffed with a Center Director, 11 teachers and three senior aides.
