Coffee Break: 6 sites for cashless kettles

Saturday, December 6, 2009

The bell-ringing tradition that is the Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign just got a little quieter.

Six of the organization's 60 area kettles now have a secure terminal to accept credit and debit cards. Donors swipe their cards and select the amount they want to donate and the rest is exactly like using a card in a store.

The cashless kettle sites are Hobby Lobby at 7986 U.S. 64; the Food Court at the Wolfchase Galleria; Kroger at 7615 U.S. 70; Oak Court Mall; Kroger at 540 Mendenhall; and Schnucks at 3150 Forest Hill-Irene.
