Adopt a Child for Angel Tree

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A lot of kids and senior citizens will have a happy holiday, thanks to the generous folks around the Mid-South. Learn how you can adopt someone in need, with locations located near all your holiday shopping.

The Angel Tree program runs from November 20 through December 12 and provides underprivileged children and elderly not only with holiday gifts but also the proof that someone cares.

This year more than 1,800 children need adopting from the malls (Oak Court, Wolfchase Galleria and Carrefour at Kirby Woods). Angels can also be adopted online at www.jcp.com/angel.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program relies on support of the community to help bring joy and happiness during the holiday season to these Angels. The program will provide these Angels with much needed clothing items and other wished-for items such as toys.
