Coffee Break: Salvation Army Rings Bell Online

The local Salvation Army is offering Online Red Kettles this bell-ringing season. This is the first time the local Salvation Army has offered this type of program.

The Online Red Kettle enables people short on time for volunteering this season to ring the bell "virtually" online. They can host a red kettle and share the information with family and friends.

Money raised in the Online Red Kettles and traditional kettles is used to fund The Salvation Army's programs in the Memphis area, including homeless shelters, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, utility assistance, emergency assistance, disaster relief and a variety of children's programs.
