In Brief: Angel Tree kids need your help

Saturday, November 21, 2009

The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program will kick off at 1 p.m. today with an opening ceremony at Oak Court Mall, on the lower level near Dillard's.

The Angel Tree program, which runs through Dec. 12, provides underprivileged children and elderly with holiday gifts.

This year, more than 1,800 children need adopting through area malls or online at jcp.com/angel.

The program will provide these children and adults with much-needed clothing and toys.
