Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will be the keynote speaker at The Salvation Army’s “Everyday Heroes: Building a Solid Community” Annual Dinner May 17.

Huckabee is currently the host of Fox News Channel’s weekend show “Huckabee” and ABC Radio Network’s “Huckabee Report.”

Huckabee also will present The Salvation Army’s “Doing the Most Good” award to a Memphis volunteer.

The dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave.

Individual tickets for the dinner are $125. Tables of 10 are $1,250. The money raised will benefit the three shelters within Salvation Army’s Purdue Center of Hope Facility.
