Day Captains Needed at Bell-Ringing Locations
Thanks to the help of last year’s volunteers and News Channel 3’s media coverage, last year’s Red Kettle Campaign broke the records, bringing in more than $370,000. Angel Tree Volunteers Needed
Every year, the Salvation Army provides Christmas gifts to thousands of children and seniors through the Angel Tree Program. Hundreds of volunteers within the Memphis community help make this remarkable program a success by volunteering their time and services to this program. We need your help.
With the economy as tough as it is, The Salvation Army needs more help than ever in making this holiday season special to those in need. This year, volunteers can assist the Angel Tree program in a variety of ways.
Volunteers are needed at the adoption and information tables located at Wolfchase Galleria, Oak Court Mall and Carrefour at Kirby Woods Monday through Saturday beginning November 21. Volunteers are also needed to help sort the Angel Tree gifts at the warehouse December 5 though December 18. On Saturday, December 19 and possibly Monday, December 21, extra hands will be greatly appreciated in helping break down the Angel Tree warehouse.
Those interested in Angel Tree volunteer opportunities can visit our Web site and download the Angel Tree volunteer form here.
