The Bells are Still Ringing –
Please Keep Giving

It's crunch time! There are only 15 more days until Christmas morning, and just two weeks left to donate to The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Fundraiser.

The results have been amazing. The community has reached deep into its pockets and The Salvation Army is only $135,103.27 away from reaching the overall goal of $335,000. By raising this amount The Salvation Army can ensure continued year-round funding to programs such as homeless shelters, family services, drug and alcohol rehabilitation services, children's programs and Christmas assistance.

"We are so impressed with the selfless spirit the Memphis community has shown thus far," said Major Mark Woodcock, Area Commander for The Salvation Army. "I am very optimistic that we will reach our goal, and with everyone's support we can make a world of difference."

This year, more people have turned to The Salvation Army for help. Every donation enables The Salvation Army to help people get back on their feet. So, while you are running your last minute errands for presents or groceries, toss a donation into a Red Kettle and your Christmas gift will last year round.

The bells are silent on Sundays and the last day of the campaign is Christmas Eve.
